  • The 9 to 5 Pro Service Process:
    Step One: Choose your service and purchase on our site. (Please make sure you have a copy of your most recent resume and a link to the job you're applying to. Please be sure you are aware of the position's closing date.) Step Two: Within 24-48 hours you will receive an Intake Questionnaire where you will be able to upload your most recent resume and any other skills/achievements, or supplemental documentation. You will have 5 days to fill out and return your intake questionnaire. Day 1 of services start when the intake questionnaire is completed. Please ensure your schedule accommodates working with us. Step Three: After your questionnaire has been completed, the writing process officially starts. You’ll receive a text or email (whichever your prefer) confirming receipt of the form and the date to expect your first draft by (within 8-12 business days from when your questionnaire is received). This e-mail or text will also contain any links to schedule any consultations/coaching sessions that are part of your purchase. Step Four: Once you receive your first draft documents, remember to check for any concerns you may have with dates, formatting, or even language and return those corrections within 5 business days. For standard turnarounds, you will have 3 opportunities for revisions before finalizing your document. For rush orders, you will have 1 opportunity for revisions before finalizing your document. Step Five: Once you’ve confirmed all changes, you’ll receive your resumé in a WORD editable document and PDF version to maintain formatting. We do accept non-government resumes.   • When do I submit payment?
    Payment is expected upfront when you add your services to your cart. Please remember to add any rush order fees to your cart as well. Your order is not complete, and services will not begin until all initial payments have been processed. If you would like to request special financial accommodations, please email us at info@the9to5pro.com before placing an order on the site.
  • Refund Policy:
    Fees for consultation, information-gathering, and preparation of career documents are non-refundable, as The 9 to 5 Pro provides custom services for each client. All payments are non-refundable, as they cover the development of a customized questionnaire, interview questions, or other services. Services include client consultation or coaching, writing, and editorial services, design, layout, editing and proofreading, and finalization of such documents are intellectual property and take a significant amount of time to prepare and complete which cannot be recouped. Because The 9 to 5 Pro takes client satisfaction very seriously, it is our policy to work with you until you are satisfied with your documents and services. We built our brand on referrals and word-of-mouth from happy clients. Let us know what we need to do to ensure we accomplish that goal. Again, all services are considered complete within 30 days of purchase date unless otherwise stated by written agreement. This is regardless if you fail to follow through on your commitments of the contract.
  • How long do I have to finalize my documents?
    Finalization of contracted written documents must be approved within 5 business days of receipt of the first draft materials. After 5 business days, all services will be considered approved and complete, and additional work will be billed as a new service.
  • How do I expedite my order?
    I offer (2) rush options to deliver your documents to you in 9 days or less! If you need your resume in less than 9 business days from the completion of your questionnaire, the price is $50. If you need your resume in 24 hours, the price is $100. You can add these services to your cart under 'Services'.
  • How do I contact my resume writer?
    You can stay in consistent contact with your resume writer via email by reaching out to info@the9to5pro.com or by text at our business phone number 202-902-7041.
  • Will you keep a copy of my resume?
    We do keep a copy of your resume on file for 1 year. Our files are confidential, and our non-client-facing staff do not have access to your personal information ever. If you lose or accidentally delete your resume, you can request a copy and we will gladly resend your resume for a small fee of $10.
  • I am a previous client and need changes made to my resume purchased in the past. Can I pay for edits?
    Yes, I offer an option for edits for past clients which you can purchase by clicking under 'Returning Clients'. This option is exclusive for previous clients seeking to update their resume to apply to positions within the Federal industry. If you received a private industry resume in the past and would like updates, you can purchase by clicking under 'Returning Clients'. If you would like your resume changed to apply to roles in an entirely different industry, this requires the purchase of a new resume as each role, achievement, and responsibility will need to be adjusted to meet those relevant to the new industry.
